Spring Quarter 2014 Selectives

DDS and IDS Classes of 2015 and DDS Class of 2016

FINAL MASTER LIST IS BELOW UNDER DOWNLOADS.

Please be sure to check the date, time and room number of your selectives.  There was a glitch in excel on the draft master lists and has been corrected on the final master list.

Updates on the Master List

  • Mastering the Art of Inlays, Onlays, and Partial Veneer Restorations:  3 Tuesdays, April 29 and May 6 and 13, 2014; 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the Sim Lab
  • Hands-On Investing and Casting: The Lost Wax Technique changed to Room 304.

If you decide to go to a non-limited selective you did not sign up for, go ahead and attend!  Be sure to add your name to the ADD-ON section at the end of the roster to receive credit.

Students in your classes are required to take two selectives during the spring quarter. A student may take as many courses as he/she wishes provided there is no time or other conflict. Enrollment in selective courses is on a first-come, first-served basis, unless otherwise noted.

Note to DDS 2016: Fundamentals and Implant Concepts selective — some sessions of this course may conflict with Preclinical blocks. Students can miss sessions due to the preclinical blocks per the instructor. You will receive credit for the sessions you attend.

All selective courses are offered on a credit/"F" basis only. The dental school does not have a "no credit" grading option. Selective courses become part of your dental school transcript.

Note to students in the Invisalign™ course: successful participation in the Invisalign course in winter and spring 2014 fulfills one of your second-year selective requirements. If you successfully complete the course in summer or autumn 2014, it fulfills your senior-level selective course requirement.

Also available below is a monthly calendar showing the meeting dates and times of all selectives.

Students should check periodically for any date/time/room changes. Changes will be in RED on the list of offerings, master lists, registration forms, and monthly calendar.
