Peter Hansen, D.D.S.
Dr. Hansen is a native of San Diego, California and graduated from University of the Pacific in 1966 with a degree in biology. He attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, graduating in 1971 after attaining membership in OKU honorary dental fraternity. He continued his education at the University of California San Francisco where he completed a dental internship at their medical center in 1972.
Dr. Hansen returned to University of the Pacific's dental school as an associate professor in the prosthodontic department while beginning a general dentistry practice in downtown San Francisco. In 1977, Dr. Hansen began a two-year residency in prosthodontics at University of Southern California's dental school.
Since 1981, Dr. Hansen has also belonged to a private practice located on the San Francisco peninsula.
Dr. Hansen is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and has served as chairman of the local chapter peer review committee. He also is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Mid-Peninsula Dental Society and Academy of Osseointegration.
