Caesy Plug-Ins

Plug-ins are software programs that help a Web browser display certain kinds of content, such as video or animation It is simple to download and install plug-ins. Follow the instructions below to download and install the plug-ins you need to run the CAESY software.

Note: if your computer is running Windows XP or Vista, you may already have the last two plug-ins installed.

(1) DivX Codec

Remove first any DivX programs currently in your computer. To install, obtain the installation file from the Downloads section on this page. Just follow the on-screen installation instructions until done.

After the installation, click Start > Run on the desktop, then type  "regsvr32 msdxm.ocx" without the quotes, and press OK.

(2) Windows Media Player (WMP)

To find out whether you have WMP installed already:

  • Open Windows Explorer and browse to C:\Program Files If you see a folder called Windows Media Player folder, you're all set.
  • In the folder, you should see either mplayer2.exe or wmplayer.exe. Double click at the exe you have. The player should open up.

You can find a player appropriate for your operating system on Microsoft's site.

(3) Flash Player

Go to Adobe's site and follow the instructions on the download page. The download page should auto-detect your operating system and browser type; if you need a different one, just click the "Different operating system or browser?" link on that download page.
