The goal of a responsible clinician is to provide his or her patients with functional, long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing anterior and posterior restorations, in the most conservative and biocompatible fashion. Direct composite restorations fulfill these ideal requirements. For some practitioners, direct anterior and posterior composites can be technique sensitive, difficult, time consuming and often financially unrewarding procedures. This may be due, in large part, to the incorrect use of new materials which require a new approach.
Dr. Ruiz will present a completely new, scientifically-based approach to executing the most widely performed procedures in dentistry-direct composites. Additionally, highly aesthetic direct composite restorations provide an excellent alternative to porcelain veneers. These restorations require less tooth reduction, often less gingival involvement and can be completed in one visit. With the help of today's excellent aesthetic composite materials, direct composite restorations can compete in beauty with porcelain. You will learn the latest techniques, materials and the principles necessary to perform exquisite, predictable and simple direct anterior and posterior composite restorations.
