To celebrate and honor National Children's Dental Health Month, Alameda County Highland General Hospital Dental Clinic (Oakland, CA) and University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry ( San Francisco, CA) are conducting their first Give Special Kids A Smile (GSKAS) free screening event at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.
Each participant will receive at no charge:

Deadline: Friday, March 2, Friday at 3:00 pm.
A nationwide program since 2003, Give Kids A Smile® is sponsored by the ADA and locally implemented by members of various dental societies. Its goals are to help children get the dental care they so desperately need and raise awareness that our children deserve a better health care system that addresses their dental health needs. Dental caries (decay) is a preventable and spreadable disease that if detected early can be controlled. There are new methods in caries risk assessment and education that can help children and adults lower their risks.
