The San Francisco Bay Guardian named Dr. Natasha Lee '00 the Bay Area's best dentist as part of the newspaper's annual "Best of the Bay" issue. Lee, a faculty member at the dental school since 2000, has owned and operated her private general dentistry practice in San Francisco's Sunset District for six years. Lee's patients nominated her for the honor.
"It means a lot to be recognized by my patients like this," said Lee. "My dental team plays a huge role in the success of our practice and I'm grateful to have such wonderful patients!"
Throughout her career, Lee has earned numerous awards and accolades, including the San Francisco Dental Society's 2007 Committee Person of the Year and Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She is currently vice president of the San Francisco Dental Society and has recently been elected to the California Dental Association Board of Trustees.
The Bay Guardian, an independently owned and operated newspaper, began publishing its "Best of the Bay" picks in 1974 in an effort to celebrate the people and places that make the Bay Area a great place to live, work and play. Read the "Best of the Bay 2008" here.
