Oral Surgery Residency Program Receives Grant

The California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Foundation awarded the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry a grant for more than $42,000 to support its oral surgery residency program. Dr. Ned Nix '95, president-elect of the CAOMS Foundation, presented the grant to Dean Patrick J. Ferrillo, Jr. and Dr. Thomas Indresano, chair of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, on April 22. The grant monies will help purchase educational materials and cover travel and training for oral surgery residents.

"It's my hope that this gift will help support the education and training of the best and brightest residents through Pacific's oral and maxillofacial surgery training program," said Nix.

The CAOMS Foundation was established as to promote education and research in oral and maxillofacial surgery programs throughout California.
