Each holiday season, the Dugoni School community focuses on giving to those in need, donating time, resources and goods to various charitable organizations. This year, the Pediatric Study Club has organized the second annual Toys for Tots toy drive. Starting Nov. 18, participants are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys to benefit underserved kids via the Toys for Tots Foundation.
"This is a great opportunity for us to positively impact the children of our community beyond providing them oral health care," said Dr. Jeff Wood, chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Students from the study club will staff donation boxes during lunch breaks and help to increase awareness for the toy drive. Donation bins will also be available all day outside the Business Office located on the fifth floor.
Your donation can help less fortunate children in your community have a very special Christmas. To learn more about Toys for Tots visit http://www.toysfortots.org.
