Endowment and Legacy Society

Each year, donor Rosemary Dixon presents international students with scholarships funded by the Dr. F. Gene and Rosemary Dixon IDS Endowment.

Alumni, parents and friends of the dental school started the Endowment and Legacy Society in 1982 to provide financial support for the future needs of the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. You can become a member by making a $50,000 endowment gift or by designating the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry as a beneficiary of a bequest or charitable trust to receive at maturity a gift of $50,000 or more.

Members of the Society can make a "current" gift to establish an endowment fund or a "future" gift in the form of a bequest, charitable gift annuity or trust or other planned gift. These types of gifts help support the dental school by providing student scholarships, faculty support, chairs or professorships,  or funds for patient care, departments or facilities. Many donors choose to direct their gifts to be used for school's greatest need through an unrestricted designation.

If you would like to create an endowment, please call 415.929.6431. If you are interested in learning how you can reduce your taxes through a planned gift, please contact Dr. Linda Frank, Major Gifts Officer, at 415.749.3303 or lfrank@pacific.edu.
