The dental hygiene clinic on the campus of University of the Pacific in Stockton offers care provided by our dental hygiene students. These services include preventive care such as prophylaxis (cleanings), sealants and fluoride treatments, as well as X-rays, periodontal maintenance therapy and root planing (deep cleaning). Other services such as blood pressure screenings, oral cancer exams, tobacco cessation counseling, nutritional counseling and interim therapeutic restorations (temporary fillings) are also available. All dental hygiene care is provided under the supervision of our expert faculty members. Every patient receives a full oral health assessment to determine their treatment needs.
There is no charge for any dental hygiene services provided in the Pacific Dental Care Clinic.

Clinic appointments are available on Mondays at 1:15 pm (from September through April) and Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:15 am and 1:15 pm (all year).

During your initial visit, adults will receive a medical and oral health screening to determine if their dental hygiene needs can be met by the students in the clinic. Patients beyond the scope of the students will be referred to other providers.
