Information Technology Policies

The policies on this page have been established by the University of the Pacific to safeguard network and email accounts, protect patient information and confidentiality and protect the University's computing resources from attack by viruses, identity thieves and other threats. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with these policies and to follow them.

Some of the documents on this page require intranet access.

When you access Intranet Web pages and documents from outside the school network, the system will prompt you for your user name and password.

To log in:

  1. Click the link to the Intranet Web page and/or documents you want
  2. If you are outside the school's network, a dialog box will pop up
  3. In the User Name field, type sf\ followed by your user name. Example: sf\jdoe
  4. In the Password field, type your password
  5. Click OK

Please note that if you get prompted for your user name and password within the school's network, you will need to adjust your settings in Internet Explorer. This applies to Windows computers only.
